About me...

I have always been passionate about supporting people in their development. My journey has been shaped at the crossroads of several fields—arts, cultural management, training, and now coaching—with a common thread: human potential and the ability to transform.

Trained as a musician and concert performer, I taught at the Cachan Conservatory and led several musical ensembles, developing a pedagogical approach based on listening and transmission. My deep interest in culture and education soon led me to leadership roles within cultural and socio-cultural centers in the City of Paris. There, I had the opportunity to oversee large-scale artistic and educational projects, meet inspiring individuals, lead teams, and support diverse audiences in accessing culture and learning.

Philosophy and coaching: an approach to decentralization

My passion for philosophy has always fueled my thinking and my way of supporting people. Among the contemporary thinkers who inspire me, François Jullien occupies an essential place. His "philosophical project" explores in particular the question of otherness from a new angle, inviting us to step outside established frameworks and open ourselves to the unheard, that is to say to what still escapes our perception and our usual thinking. I had the opportunity to actively participate in the research work around the concepts promoted by François Jullien, in particular through articles published in two collective essays ( Arts et concept , Editions Presses Universitaires de France, 2020, and Pratiques de la décoincidence , Editions de l'Observatoire, 2024).

This approach echoes my vision of coaching. Far from being limited to achieving predefined objectives, truly transformative support is based on the ability to decentralize, to question one's certainties and to welcome other possibilities. In a world where benchmarks are constantly changing, learning to think differently, to broaden one's horizons and to develop an open posture becomes a fundamental asset. It is in this spirit that I support my clients: by helping them to break out of the thought patterns that limit them, by inviting them to explore new perspectives and to reposition themselves in the face of their challenges.

Intercultural coaching: opening up to otherness to better reinvent yourself

Now based in Australia, I measure every day the importance of intercultural intelligence in our personal and professional trajectories. Expatriation is much more than a simple geographical move: it is a profound transformation that confronts us with other ways of thinking, acting and interacting. This experience of decentralization, essential for any expatriate or professional evolving in a multicultural environment, is at the heart of my approach to coaching.

Inspired by the work of François Jullien, I integrate into my practice the idea that otherness is not an obstacle, but a resource. Jullien invites us to step outside established frameworks and welcome the unheard – what surprises us, what escapes our familiar patterns. In intercultural coaching, this posture is essential: it is not simply a question of “adapting”, but of developing real cognitive and emotional flexibility in the face of diversity.

In the business world, where interactions transcend borders, this intercultural intelligence becomes a strategic lever. It allows leaders and teams to collaborate better, take advantage of cultural differences and transform cultural shocks into opportunities for innovation. My role, as a coach, is to support these processes of adaptation and evolution by helping my clients identify and mobilize their cultural resources, broaden their frame of reference and develop a more alert and nuanced approach to the challenges of change.

Whether for an expatriate seeking to find their bearings, a manager evolving in an international environment or a company wishing to optimize its intercultural dynamics, my support aims to make otherness a driving force for transformation and fulfillment.

I was fortunate to be guided by Stéphane during a time when I lacked perspective. Together, we defined clear objectives, and Stéphane showed great dedication, encouraging me to take concrete actions. Thanks to his active listening, he guided my reflection and helped me identify and overcome limiting beliefs. As a result, I was able to discover key insights that allowed me to embark on a new adventure. Stéphane truly has a gift for helping you move forward toward what you deeply desire.

Geoffrey.

Although I was at a point in my life where everything seemed so clear and peaceful, I have immense gratitude for the positive influence you had on me during our first coaching session together. You gave me a simple quote that has changed my whole life and influenced the way I think and make decisions. You taught me how to continue to develop positive relationships with others and invited me into a peaceful approach to building bridges that I didn't know was possible. Thank you Stephane!

Sarah.
